What did Sarah have to offer?
This pandemic is affecting the whole world. As a teacher in Kentucky, I am still working digitially and my husband is an essential worker. We have been blessed to maintain our employment during this time. I want to help others who are far less fortunate and do not have the resources and abilities to stay safe during this crisis. I also enjoy writing and would like to be able to help an organization with such an important mission. I have always enjoyed writing and love persuasive writing. In fact, as an elementary teacher, I love to teach persuasive writing to students. It is an extremely powerful tool that will always be relevant. I have a master's degree and am currently back in school persuing my principal certification. This is relevant experience because I am used to writing papers and reflections in a professional format. I am looking for ways to help others during this pandemic and this opportunity seemed to be the best fit for me.
